The SKYLARKS is a Ten-Piece, Octet or smaller combo. All are excellent combinations for any size venue as it allows the presentation of the big band sound for dancing and entertainment or the subtleties of a small combo during mixers or dinners. The make up of the band is Alto, Tenor and Baritone Saxophone, 2 Trumpets, Trombone, Piano, Guitar, Bass, and Drums.
Featured vocalists with The Skylarks are Emily Nelson Musser and Charles King.
The octet is lead by Littleton music educator and trombonist, Ron Ingle. The band has been performing in the area for 3 years and is featured 6 times a year at dance events hosted by the South Suburban Parks and Recreation.
