John W. Morgan / President Originally from Southern California, John moved to Colorado in 1994 when his parents were called to new job opportunities. He graduated from Cherry Creek High School in 1995 and shortly thereafter graduated College with a degree in Business Administration. He has been a part of LCMA for 15 years and is the director of LCMA’s The Rootin’ Tootin’s Dixieland Band. This is John’s first season as President of LCMA. Prior to being elected President John served as Treasurer of LCMA for 10 years. Along with being active in LCMA John is also a freelance Audio Technician and is on staff as an Audio Engineer at a local church in Cherry Hills. John has been married for 10 years and has a four year old daughter.
Ron Ingle / Vice President Ron Ingle attended Metro State College of Denver and received his BA in Music Education in 1996. He was an elementary school music teacher from 1996-2008, teaching in Denver Public Schools and Littleton Public Schools. In 2008 he followed his other passion, cooking. Ron received a degree in Culinary Arts from Culinary School of the Rockies in Boulder, Colorado. For the past 2 years he is the head night baker for Panera Bread at Aspen Grove.
Esther I. Morgan / Secretary Esther Morgan has been with the LCMA for over 16 years having joined as a sophomore in high school. She has been playing trumpet for 22 years and was given tutelage on her instrument by one of the LCMA founding members, Dr. Don Boley. She also has 7 years of piano lessons to add to her musical knowledge. Music is her greatest passion second to reading. She has played 3rd part in the Wind Jammers Jazz Band for over 10 years as well as in the pit orchestra for several amateur musicals, performed with the Lakewood Symphony, the Mile High Freedom Band and is the newest member of the South Suburban Community Orchestra. She is currently serving her 9th year on the LCMA Board of Directors and her 3rd term as Secretary. She also works full time in HOA Management and chases after her 4 year old daughter in her spare time.

Charles E. Florian / At Large Director of Bands Charles Florian has been an integral part of LCMA as Director since 1992. He has served on the LCMA board since 1995 and was the President of the board from 2003-2010. Charles holds a B.A. in music education from Adams State College and currently teaches private instruction at Achord Music Studios. In addition the private instruction, he has had an extensive career teaching in schools from 1969 to present. He has played with the Air Force Band of the Rockies, he was a student director of the Adams State Jazz Band, and was the composer of an original score for a Broncos Half Time in 1971. He directs and plays with current LCMA groups including the Windjammer Jazz Orchestra.
Matthew L. Rose / At Large Castle Rock Orchestra Director Originally from Kansas, Matt spent 1994 to 2006 in Los Angeles where he operated a small music studio in his spare time. He received a Certificate in Film Scoring from UCLA Extension where he studied composition and conducting with Gerald Fried and Thom Sharp. He also studied composition and music theory with Dr. David Goodman at Santa Monica College. He spent one year at Hans Zimmer's Media Ventures working with composers Mark Mancina, Jeff Rona, John Van Tongeren and Nick Glennie-Smith. Matt is music director of the Castle Rock Orchestra, past president of the Denver Pops-Mostly Strauss Orchestra, the Director of Instrumental Music of St. Luke's United Methodist Church in Highlands Ranch and participates in a number of LCMA ensembles.

Michael W. O’Connor / At Large Michael O’Connor plays tenor saxophone in the Windjammers dance band. He has a computer science degree from the University of Houston and has been playing saxophone since high school. He currently works as a private consultant in the field of embedded systems and lives with his wife and two children in Highlands Ranch.
Dr. Donald H. Boley / At Large Advisor to the Board As one of LCMA’s founding members, Dr. Boley has served on its board from the start of the organization as well as playing in many of LCMA’s music groups over the years. After 27 years, Dr. Boley retired in 1990 from teaching music in the Littleton Public School District. Before retiring from there he began tutoring music privately in 1985, and continues to teach brass, keyboard and piano privately at Acchord Music Studios in Littleton. Dr. Boley earned his B.A. and M.A. degrees in teaching and music from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley. He then earned his Ph.D. in Music Education from the University of Iowa.
